You are here: Home / About / NPI History

Created in 2007, NPI has impacted tens of thousands of elementary, middle, and high school students and educators through its efforts, programming, and relationships. The 2019 – 2022 academic years were particularly pivotal for NPI amid changes in the institute’s staffing, mission,  focus, and COVID-19 challenges. Through these changes, NPI continued to make significant growth and impact on the lives of Texas students.
