Pi Day

You are here: Home / About / Private: Science in the Kitchen – Cooking up Curiosity / Pi Day

2023 Pi Day Competition:

Nuclear Power Institute (NPI) is celebrating National Pi Day with a “pie” video competition. National Pi Day is celebrated each year on March 14, as it is a mathematical constant with the beginning numbers of 3.14. In that Pi is the ratio of a circle’s circumference, NPI is using this opportunity to challenge PreK-12 Texas students to create pie video submissions for its “Science in the Kitchen: Cooking up Curiosity” program.

ATTENTION Texas students, educators, and parents join NPI in celebrating Pi Day by competing in our Pi Day Video Competition! This competition encourages students to share science-in-the-kitchen recipes with math and science factoids. For those interested, register using the interactive flier linked below. We encourage you all to join our celebration; we have PI.
