Competition Winners Tristen, Carter, and Alyssa
Congratulations to Tristen Pool, Carter Ponce, and Alyssa Martinez for being the Nuclear Power Institute’s (NPI) “Clean SMARTS Master Class” Finale Competition Winners!! These students’ initiative and enthusiasm paid off with their winning submissions, and we are eager to celebrate their accomplishments.
NPI would also like to thank the 2021-2022 Clean SMARTS Master Class Experts for their generous contributions of knowledge and expertise: Commissioner Julian Alvarez III a Texas Workforce Commission, Aleshia Duncan the Deputy Assistant Secretary for International Nuclear Energy Policy, and Cooperation for the Office of Nuclear Energy at the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Nuclear Energy, Rob Gorham the Executive Director of Manufacturing Initiatives for SecureAmerica Institute, Colonel Ross Guieb the Executive Director for the George H.W. Bush Combat Development Complex, Chrisma Jackson the Senior Manager leading the Nuclear Deterrence Special Projects and Use Control Group in the Advanced Systems and Transformation Center at Sandia National Labs, Dr. Meera Venkatesh Aims and Supports Peaceful Nuclear Applications of the IAEA Applications of Nuclear Science and Technologies and a Retired Director at the Department of Nuclear Sciences and Applications for the IAEA, and Dr. Adam D. William a Senior Systems Engineer for the Sandia National Labs among many others for inspiring our future Texas STEM workforce.
