In collaboration with Prairie View A&M University (PVAMU), the Nuclear Power Institute (NPI) provided leadership, guidance, support, and helped host events for the IAEA Programs at Argonne National Laboratory and Argonne National Laboratory‘s (ANL) “Regional Training Course for Teachers and Educators,” aiming to introduce nuclear sciences in secondary schools through innovative approaches. The three-week program focused on equipping educators from many African countries with technical knowledge related to nuclear science and technology (NST), in addition to empowering them with effective pedagogical techniques.
Last week, NPI engaged Dr. Arnold Muyshondt, Assistant Vice Chancellor of the National Laboratories Office of the Texas A&M University System to impart his knowledge and insights to the visiting educators. Thank you, Dr. Muyshondt, for supporting this globally impactful program!
