On February 26, the Nuclear Power Institute (NPI) hosted the “WIT Nuclear Applications, Clean Energies, Manufacturing Awareness, and Professional Development Seminar.” A spectacular group of 500 students and educators from across the state of Texas attended to engage with and learn from world-class experts. Thank you to Dr. Lin Shao, the Robert Cochran University Professor at the Department of Nuclear Engineering at Texas A&M University; Randi Mays Knapp, a Certified Etiquette & Leadership Coach; Dr. Arnoldo (Arnold) Muyshondt, the Assistant Vice Chancellor for the Texas A&M National Laboratories Office, Dr Oscar Acuna the Lead for Outreach and International Programs at the National Center for Electron Beam Research (NCEBR) at Texas A&M University, Dr. Hector Yanez a Principal Research Engineer for TEES Manufacturing Initiatives at Texas A&M University, and Ed Bassett the Director of the Engineering Academies at Texas A&M University. NPI helps to build the Texas workforce.
